UEF's Global Leap: Over 3.2 Million Euros in Development Funding for International Collaborations

The University of Eastern Finland (UEF) is celebrating a remarkable achievement with over 3.2 million euros awarded in development funding, enhancing its global educational and research footprint. A significant boost came from the Erasmus+ programme, which granted UEF more than 475,000 euros, earmarked for global mobility and capacity building between 2023 and 2026. This funding supports an expansive network, facilitating exchanges with 21 countries outside the EU, notably in sub-Saharan Africa, Latin America, the Caribbean, Asia, and Central Asia.
UEF's success in the Team Finland Knowledge Programme 2023 call has further bolstered its role as a leader in the educational sector, with projects emphasizing toxicology education and STEAM pedagogy in partnership with international universities.
These ventures promise to fortify UEF's strategic commitment to global responsibility and sustainable development while nurturing inclusive and innovative academic alliances.
