Paresh Rathod, Senior Lecturer at Laurea University of Applied Sciences, recently took center stage at the 7th NATO Conference on Cyber Security in the Maritime Domain, held in Crete, Greece. Representing the CyberSecPro project, Rathod, alongside Prof. Christos Douligeris, highlighted the importance of practical cybersecurity education in fortifying maritime domains against digital threats. The CyberSecPro project, an EU-funded initiative, is spearheaded by a team of cybersecurity experts aiming to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and marketable skills in cybersecurity. With Laurea UAS leading the charge, the project showcases the Nordic commitment to digital security and the cultivation of a skilled cybersecurity workforce for Europe's future.
