In a significant development for the marine technology sector, Peter Zickerman, the Executive Chairman of Dubai-based seismic leader, PXGEO, recently visited Karlskrona and the Blekinge Institute of Technology (BTH). PXGEO, a key player in marine technology with ongoing collaborations like the one with SAAB Dynamics in Sweden, is keen to establish its footprint in Sweden and perceives potential collaboration with BTH.
The visit to Karlskrona brought Zickerman in contact with several professors, teachers, and marine technology master's students at BTH. Additionally, members from the Blue Science Park and representatives from the Karlskrona municipality were also present.
After presenting an overview of his company, discussions delved into the potential avenues of collaboration between PXGEO and BTH. Notably, the collaboration might encompass degree and project work, providing students a unique opportunity to engage with real-world challenges and technological innovations in marine technology.
Given PXGEO's esteemed position in the marine tech landscape, this prospective partnership can pave the way for significant advancements and opportunities in marine technology research and development.
