Lund University Welcomes 4,000 New International Students

Lund University welcomed 4,000 new international students for the autumn semester of 2023 on Arrival Day, which fell on August 15. This year's cohort included exchange students, program students at various levels, Double degree and Joint program students, as well as Study Abroad participants. These students hail from over a hundred different countries, with Germany, China, the Netherlands, the USA, Great Britain, and France being the largest groups. Arrival Day marks the beginning of Orientation Weeks, a two-week introduction program to help students settle in and familiarize themselves with Lund University, Swedish culture, and student life.
