Get to Know Tampere Talent Ambassador Paloma Catalá Parga

Paloma Catalá Parga is a flautist, composer, and music teacher from Spain who moved to Tampere in December 2019 with her husband and daughter. Despite having a comfortable life in Spain with stable jobs and their own home, Paloma felt creatively stifled and restricted in her professional growth. Additionally, she was dissatisfied with the education system for her daughter. After undergoing surgery in 2017 and successfully recovering, Paloma and her husband decided to fulfill their long-held dream of living in Finland.

Encouraged by a Finnish musician's advice, they made the courageous decision to relocate to Finland, specifically to Tampere.
