Hidden Gems is a vital initiative launched by the Tampere Universities community in Finland, specifically designed for international spouses who have relocated to the Tampere region due to their partners’ professional commitments. These spouses, possessing varied educational and professional backgrounds, often find themselves on the sidelines of organizational support, despite their qualifications and expertise. Hidden Gems seeks to rectify this by providing a platform for empowerment, networking, and professional growth, allowing these individuals not only to integrate into Finnish society but also to contribute significantly with their “hidden” talents and skills.

Fostering Integration and Contribution:

In the upcoming academic year 2023-24, the initiative is set to concentrate on the establishment of peer support groups.
