DTU has fortified its biotechnology collaboration with North Carolina State University (NC State), one of the leading institutions in the burgeoning biotechnology market of the US's Research Triangle Park. This strategic alliance aims to enhance research and educational pursuits in biotechnology, bolstering the exchange of students and researchers. Moreover, this partnership leverages NC State's proximity to major life science giants like GlaxoSmithKline, Pfizer, and Danish firms Novozymes and Novo Nordisk. With joint ventures such as the AIM-Bio programme, supported by the Novo Nordisk Foundation, the two universities are on the frontline of developing innovative biotechnological solutions, fostering an international perspective for their researchers and students, and responding to the ever-increasing global pharmaceutical demand.
