Associate Professor Pooya Davari of AAU Energi has been awarded the Equinor Prize, Denmark's longest-standing engineering accolade. Celebrated for his groundbreaking work in power electronics, a pivotal technology in advancing the green transition, Davari's contributions play a significant role in enhancing the electromagnetic compatibility and reliability of electronics in applications such as wind turbines, solar cells, batteries, and electric vehicles. His collaboration with over ten Danish companies aims to elevate their products to meet forthcoming standards for electrical appliances, ensuring both their market competitiveness and commitment to the green transition. Awarded DKK 100,000, the Equinor Prize recognizes the remarkable impact of Davari's research in the last eight years in Denmark and his ongoing dedication to the nation's advancements in power electronics.
